I have this printer and needed to download the MP460 driver from Canon because it didn't come with OS X. Sounds like you did this, but just in case..

You should see the MP460 under Bonjour after hitting print.
Instead of using IP Printer you should use the Default Browser and select Canon IJ Printer from the Print Using dropdown. You should hit Add then, not More Printers.
If you have added the printer when you are plugged in directly through USB you'll need to add it again wirelessly. This was my experience and caused a lot of confusion because it sees the printer, but can't print to it.
